Arab women are so hot. Let's just fire all the news bimbos in America and replace them with Lebanese and Iranian women, whether they speak English or not (most people wouldn't notice anyway).
I like the guy's metaphor of a bird in a cage. I have to agree with that idea that it's hard for people who haven't been free to accept freedom and know what to do with it.
However, does America, as the world's foremost military power, have a moral obligation to free unfree people? How many thousands of places could we invade under that pretext? We have neither the time, the resources nor the moral obligation to be doing anything like this.
It's nice Iraqis have free elections. Now they can freely vote in their usurpers and political exploiters, rather than one choosing himself to be dictator like Saddam. What progress!
Generally I like to respond to almost every comment on my blog, BUT I could probably argue Iraq with you for days on end - with you eagerly meeting the challenge. I haven't the "time, resources, nor moral obligation" to undertake this task.
