Hilarious License Place

I saw a DC plate the other day, read the slogan, and nearly suffered a chortling injury!

Do you get it?

It's a bold complaint by DC people. They aren't a *State*.

But taken from another perspective, ironically, it may as well be the rest of America's complaint about WASHINGTON DC!

Yeah, that seems to be the case: the representation is pro forma only.

BTW: the anti robot letters are really difficult to read (for this non-robot).
It's getting hard to post here.

Thanks for that link. Was fun to read.

Peter Schiff is a good man. I'm a big fan of his. Although he's burying his clients partially with mining shares - the worst investment industry in the history of the stock market!

Mish is a renegade nutjob who has been screaming for years that there's no *inflation* - for semantic reasons or some nonsense. "Never you mind that $4 gasoline!"

Here's a short post of mine that illustrates that Mish has a *weak background* in the financial markets - link.

And if you go back to when Mish wrote that "Schiff is Wrong" post, I wrote up my own response criticizing Mish:

Here's what I said,

Yeah, that's right, a man with *over 20 years* in the business is touting his 3.5 year returns - returns he's only comparing to those of the S&P 500. And note that his returns only look *good* in the wake of 2008, an outlier year for the markets. "

I also criticized Mish for his hypocritical support for the Commi-fool at Calculated Risk.
