Vicious Free Range Turkeys

The recession has made my neighborhood turkeys a little cranky. Or was it the election results?



Charging Turkey
A local woman called police at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 4) to report while she was walking to her car from her house a turkey charged at her sister in the driveway, knocking her to the ground and pecking at her.

The animal control officer was notified.
Police said it appears to be an isolated incident. Turkeys do not carry rabies.
