Kid Rock - The Most Popular Nobody On The Planet

His new *song about a song* is continuously airing on the radio these days.

On some stuff (e.g. Facebook) I am simply *out* or *out of the loop*. But I couldn't remember why the heck Kid Rock is so famous. I've perused his Wikipedia entry and still can't figure it out.

UPDATE - Apparently Kid Rock borrowed from Warren Zevon! Nobody informed me. Where are my Captious readers?
