Damen Baily could have played on any college team at 14. His knees were shot by the time he hit college and was a huge disappointment (as a player) for Bobby K. and all of the state of IN. Some peak too early, perhaps.
DU,Yeah, he's a good example that I had almost forgotten.I didn't know about his knees being shot.I just assumed that he wasn't athletic and tall enough (only 6'3) to make it at higher levels.In basketball after high school, it doesn't matter if you can hit every single shot you take - the shorter guys have to be lightening fast, IMO.
