I Can Blame Everything On Schools...

Hah! A "bully".

I don't know who Cruz is, but he appears to be some upstart whom the thugs will most certainly smear, relentlessly to the point of Marginalization. This is what they do with any potential rival. And quite frankly, they seem to be undefeated thus far.

Calling people "bullies"...

I've had thug-supporting, eco-pagan socialists call me that before in arguments, political arguments. (I was insisting too much on facts, logic, etc.)

Remember how they, and I mean Big Media constantly referred to GWB?

Why isn't that a form a bigotry? Why is it okay to impugn frat boys?

All this, and I've said it before on this blog, I believe goes back to *school*. That's where the jock/nerd divide begins.

And guess what, I believe it's 100% artificial. I believe it's manufactured by the system - even if unintentional.

Yeah, and as if confiscating people's money, jamming through legislation, and buying off whole constituencies with said money isn't bullying...

Might Have Seen This Before...

It wasn't too long ago that I considered blogging *therapeutic*...

But now that quote sort of sums up why it isn't so fun anymore.

Or maybe it's just that I have so much more going on, personally, on a positive front that I find every mention of *what's going on in the world* so darn off-putting.

Man, I really do HATE FDR. It's hard to make that case that he isn't one of the worse things EVER to happen to America.

Our Future Presidents and Senators

Hah!

Read the article.

This is so funny it's sad.

The *best school*....jocks, who shouldn't be at Harvard in the first place, cheating....a lengthy and costly legal process....rank hypocrisy....all in a class called *Introduction to Congress*!!!

Marginalizing Vote-Wasters

Did you vote for Romney or Obama today?

Well you WASTED your vote!

See what I did there?

I'm doing this to everyone in person too. I'm preempting their sophistry. I'm throwing it right back at them.

I voted for Gary Johnson today - I think - or whoever it was on the libertarian ballot. Someone I haven't a clue about.

The rest of y'all voted for someone who either admits to wanting to do very bad things or someone who promises to do good things....but most certainly won't get anything meaningful done.

Either way, if you voted for an organized political party again, you WASTED YOUR VOTE. I mean your vote didn't count one iota towards either changing the course of this sinking ship or towards changing the intellectual/moral bankruptcy of your political party.

When Kerry couldn't beat Bush in '04 it (I believe) marked the first time in many, many moons that an incumbent president wasn't ousted during a lethargic economy.

But it looks like Obama (73% odds of winning on those gambling sites at the moment) has a good chance to keep that winning streak going for recession-Presidents. Heck, FDR kept getting reelected during the Great Depression too...

Generally speaking, there are myriad reasons to vote nonetheless.

Though I can't stand these fools that delude themselves about how important their measly vote is. I mean this country is run by 'old coots', lawyers, and thugs for the benefit of 'old coots', lawyers, and thugs and it will be until some once-in-a-generation, sharp-as-hell, tough-as-nails President sneaks in there and starts throwing haymakers at them.

I heard recently something along the lines that *voting was the last/only refuge of the truly powerless*.

Indeed.

And I was reminded of that quote the other day...

While walking up 6th Ave in NYC I came across two obscenely disheveled, obese hippies prattling on and on about the election. I slowed my pace for purposes of self-amusement/eavesdropping and heard the 'old bag' say, "....my biggest fear is that he'll be SELLING Supreme Court judgeships..."

This halted the 'old coot' in his tracks, he grabbed her arm and proceeded to wax hysterical agreement!

I mean they might not have 10 years left between them - and I doubt very much they have kids and grandkids. Trust me - I'm an expert at this type of profiling.

Half the country is going to be crestfallen tomorrow...

As Bill Belichick Would Say...

The status is *quo*!

Now as you all know I don't pay hardly any attention to the news, er NOISE.

But every time I hear an excerpt from Obama, and I mean almost every single time(!), he's blaming *evil rich people* for everything. Or at least that's what he his handlers think most Americans want to hear.

For the record, I still think he'll get re-elected.  After all, I haven't seen an encouraging election result, well, since I've been watching elections.  (Although Romney hasn't the spine to cut anything, either.)

Thanks to PrivateCaller for this one!

Heaping Burning Coals On The Angry

Don't let the funny pic throw your off....this a post about something I usually steer away from on this here blog, *politics*.

But LeagueIslander just sent me this article - The Power of Cool - which eloquently captures the hypocrisy of our pagan-socialist elite.

If you were already *angry*, that article isn't going to calm you down....I don't think.

Elizabeth Warren....Really Is Red!

Now I have to admit I HAD NO IDEA who this woman is until the other day. And even up to this morning I had mistakenly thought she was an Obama appointee or something rather than a Massachusetts (my birthplace!) candidate for Senate.

Whatever. Y'all should strive for my advanced level of selective ignorance!

Her argument can be made, of course, ad infinitum. Agitators like can her always demand that *the rich* continue to pay more in taxes because they allegedly made their money on the back of government services....right down to the point where they have to hand-over EVERY SINGLE, RAPIDLY-DEPRECIATING DOLLAR THEY EARN.

Some dude posted a very insightful response to her Commi sophistry - here.

One of his key points is that there is a large distinction between giving someone a benefit that they ask for....and forcing someone to accept benefits and then labeling them *perpetually indebted*.

Now go back to whatever productive endeavor you were engaged in and forget all about this contemporary irrelevance.

Thanks to the Ukrainian Fop for this link!

Newt Gingrich - As Bad As McCain!

Hah!

The New York Times decides to bash and Marginalize Newt Gingrich by saying he was *deeply tied* to a major arm of their OWN socialist machine!!!

Here's what happened with this buffoon...

The Democrats, who own Fannie & Freddie, set a trap. They dangled him that $1 million *consulting relationship* or whatever because, well, it cost them nothing (shareholders, bondholders, taxpayers paid) and because they had to foresight to see that by accepting it they would be putting a huge, indelible black mark on a once prominent Republican/conservative.

Newt was either too stupid to see this obvious trap...

Or he was too greedy to really care.

BTW, I've been saying for over a decade that Newt was a POS buffoon.

Don't be cynical about my cynicism.

Realize the powers-at-be knew darn well that Fannie Mae was a complete fraud and would blow up spectacularly. And they knew darn well that the media would be spinning the news away from the real culprits as the NYT is doing here.

Go ahead....go search the NYT archives for all their investigative news stories into the crap at Fannie Mae. Go find me all their editorials against Big Government's involvement in the housing market. And come back here in a millisecond after you've read them all!

Libertarian Party - Winning Debates, Losing Elections

When I first learned about small-l libertarianism....I was struck and overwhelmed by its foundation in pure logic AND its support by empirical, i.e. REAL WORLD, economics.

And right away I was left wondering why such a perspicacious political philosophy had no traction.

Of course that's a deeper question with many explanations.

But ONE biggie, IMO, is *poor marketing*.

I mean look at that *platform* by the big-L Libertarian Party above.

The wars, the Fed, domestic spying, and legalizing drugs???

Those are hardly the BIG ISSUES; they hardly address the most pressing needs and most marketable agenda for a nation being strangled by Big Government.

My libertarian platform would be:

END Government Schools
END Organized Political Parties
HALVE Government
HALVE/END Entitlements
HALVE/END The Income Tax

Now I know someone is going to say, "libertarianism isn't appealing for no other reason than because people in America are Morons..."

But I've aggressively addressed that in MY PLATFORM. See the first item!

The big-L Libertarians have to understand that so long as future voters/citizens are having their brains caponized in the school system....that it won't matter if the CIA stops spying on American soil or if you can buy marijuana in at your local bodega. This country would be doomed to implode nonetheless!

Frontrunner - A Bad Position In A Long Race?

Watch this video - but skip to the 9 minute mark to start.

39% Romney to 23% Ron Paul?

So, after the pretenders drop out, to whom will the other voters shift their support?

AND, to whom will Big Media shift its support?

Will they start propping up Ron Paul to take Mitt down a notch? I hope so!

The thing is, I don't think the *evangelicals* will be too excited about Mitt Romney, a Mormon.

Hopefully their ministers, sometime this year, will start reminding them that *Jesus was a libertarian*.

All Hail The Puppet King!

The thing is, Big Media could have put an end to this if they were the slightest bit inclined. They could still have *their guy* in the White House...

Instead they choose to provide blanket cover - I guess rationalizing in favor of a *larger battle*.

Whatever Obama is, it's important to remember that he's merely a symptom - a symptom of runaway, unaccountable Big Government.

Ron Paul has been gaining steam, despite ZERO media coverage, despite murderous *friendly fire*, despite being anathema to the ruling elites, and despite some of his admittedly wacky stances.

But the people who discount him would be well-served by reading a little history.

Winston Churchill was also Marginalized and considered a loon by the entire political establishment before....before HE SAVED EUROPE from Hitler!

The Last Lion: Winston Spencer Churchill: Alone, 1932-1940 really ought to be REQUIRED READING for young Morons and fossilized Morons alike.

Propaganda Sculpting Reality

Predictable spin!

While I don't follow the din of contemporary politics even a little bit...

I'm 1,000% sure that Newt Gingrich has negligible genuine support among Republicans.

But Big Media (Big Government'ss apparatchik) most certainly wants this loser on the ballot next fall - just as they salivated at facing that Moronic 'old coot' John McCain the last time around.

The only people I've ever even heard talk about Newt Gingrich....are the most devout illiberals within my social circles.

One could easily make the case that the special interest socialists actually would rather Mitt Romney get the nomination...and I won't argue against that hypothesis.

From that it follows that Big Media is just disposed toward building up upstarts for the purpose of weakening the alleged frontrunner/entire field.

Whoever won that debate if anyone actually watched, or cares,....whoever is the frontrunner remains immaterial.

My point is that the news from the big pipe is nothing short of pure propaganda. It's designed to DEFORM rather than inform minds.

Pols = Self-Promoting, OPM-Spending Scumbags

I took my kids to Old Bethpage last week. It's a historical recreation of Colonial living: barns, farms, cobblers, butter churning, etc. - that's very similar to Old Sturbridge Village up in Western Massachusetts.

Old Bethpage had some sparsely-attended, 3-day annual event going on.

But plastered throughout, and I mean THROUGHOUT, were those signs pictured above.

Ed Mangano, some Nassau County politician, spent taxpayer monies to stamp his name all over the event. It was almost as if HE had paid for it all!

All the while Nassau County is cutting back on services, laying people off, and on the brink of functional bankruptcy....you get the picture.

Early this summer our *town* opened a brand new $12 million dollar pool. There was plenty of partying going on for the grand opening: radio station live-broadcasting, balloons everywhere, and an array of local politicians trying to take credit and ride the wave of popular content. (The pool actually stinks. It's 3 feet deep; the diving boards are gone; the water slides are so slow that kids stop midway down; etc.)

Anyways they were there handing out T-shirts to everyone who walked in. But check out what was printed on them:

Yeah, that's right. The shirt had a bunch of unknown politicians/bureaucrats' names emblazoned on the back. Would you want to wear that shirt around town? For crying out loud....the *receiver of taxes*??? I saw quite a few people throw the shirts back on the table.

Of course there's that scumbag in West Virginia with over 50 buildings named after him!

It ought to be a law nationwide that no politician is allowed to put their name on anything that they didn't PERSONALLY pay for in its entirety.

This may seem like small beer and it is, sort of.

It's just that these elected(?) @ssholes spend steal our money and act like they're *royalty*. And considering how confiscatory income taxes are....how far have we actually progressed from Feudalism???

(OPM = "Other People's Money")

Scumbag Duffers

Hah!

This reminded me of an excerpt from that great book on the first Depression I read 1.5 years ago:

At the end of November, Jackson accompanied the president on a fishing trip. Hopkins and Ickes - who at times had feuded bitterly - were also aboard the Potomac, sharing a cabin. The four prepared political strategy: specifically, an assault on the wealthy. Roosevelt caught a large mackerel early on, but it was Jackson who had the biggest catch of the trip, a barracuda of more than twenty-five pounds. If any of them considered the incongruity of planning a class war on a yacht, they did not mention it. (p345)

Are these guys public servants?

Or royalty?

OM(Bleepin')G!

This IS NOT a joke. It's pulled directly from the Tweeter's website!!!!

Protecting Children On the Internet

In early 2007 my office did a study that found that over 85% of registered sex offenders in New York City live less than five blocks from schools, and 670 sex offenders live within just two blocks. Some offenders are even closer, permanently residing less than 500 feet away from unwitting parents, educators and children.

Along with several colleagues in Congress, we introduced & passed the KIDS (Keeping the Internet Devoid of Sexual Predators) Act of 2007, a bill to require sex offenders to register their e-mail and instant message addresses with the National Sex Offender Registry. The “Kids Act’ implemented one of my six recommendations to keep a closer eye on sex offenders both near school grounds and online. I also proposed stricter GPS tracking of sex offenders, tougher enforcement of registration laws and more public disclosure of sex offender data.

Sadly, the Internet is the predator's venue of choice today. We need to update our strategies and our laws to stop these offenders who are a mere click away from our children.

To read the text of the KIDS (Keeping the Internet Devoid of Sexual Predators) Act of 2007 click here.

For those of y'all who live under an even bigger rock than moi....this is the ostensibly married NY Congressman who was busted Tweeting and sending via FaceBook pictures of his Weiner to young girls.

You just can't make this stuff up!

'Slim Pickings' On The Democratic Plantation

This story is making headlines today - that the black employment rate hit a new low of 56.9% (versus the white rate of 68% or whatever).

OBVIOUSLY that's Bush's fault or something!

Anyways, I want to throw a stat out there that I've never heard outside of an economics class I took in 1994 or so.  Whatever it was back then I imagine it's worse today.

It stated that out of the African Americans who ARE EMPLOYED....that a staggering 75% of them work for the government, either federal, state, or local.

BTW, I got very excited for a few brief moments today. At Wendy's, an irate customer came screaming up to the counter and threw her burger down. She was gushing expletives and demanding to know WTF those people working there thought *extra pickles and extra onions* looked like. I kid you not.

No employees would respond and she went ballistic - calling them *undocumented* mo-fo's and whatnot. Of course the lady threatened to *come on back there and whoop somebody*. You can't make this up!

I was paying for my meal and enjoying it all....then alertly I put my money down and dug for my Droid camera as she was only 7 feet away.

I did catch the last few seconds of it but unfortunately missed the really good opening barbs.

It's too bad because I yearn to be back on Drudge, again.

Shoot, that was four years ago now.

The Status is *Quo*

Click graphic to enlarge.

Of course in fairness, most of the *change* comes from pre-existing problems, policies, and institutions that B. Hussein Obama inherited.

But still, they will continue to destroy this country unless and until a POTUS stands up to that abominable Congress.

And, not for nuthin' but imagine the Big Media backlash a President NOT FROM THIS PARTY would be suffering in this economic environment..

'Old Coots' Enslaving Their Grandchildren

Alright, watch the first two minutes of this:

Ms. Palin - A pension is a promise that must be kept...

A pension is a *promise*?

That's a bull$hit metaphor if I ever heard one.

Alright it was a promise in the sense that our lazy ancestors voted for politicians who PROMISED to steal their retirement funds from the next working generation...

If I was giving such a speech to a hypothetical, enlightened, younger crowd I'd be bellowing, "A pension is a CONFISCATION..."

The 'old coots' and 'old bags' that effectively run the government are of course over-simplifying the argument.

Just because they paid-in....that doesn't mean they didn't do a whole slew of other negative things (e.g. elect corrupt, wasteful pols) to cancel out, if I can channel Colonel Jessup, "...what they think they are ENTITLED TO."

They built this country?

Oh really?

Did they ever work past 6pm? Did they work weekends?

Did any of these 'old coots' ever have to jet all over the globe to earn their paycheck?

Were any of them permanently tethered to the grind via Blackberry?

The notion that they even worked hard is sketchy at best.

And whatever it was they did build - the 'worst generation' - well they're doing a heck of demo job on it now with their self-serving politics.

So the bleep what if Grandma took you to McDonalds...

She and her 'old coot' jabronis plan on confiscating half of your lifetime wages!

Realize that pension-pandering is hardly the sin of just one organized political party. And it's only going to get worse from here on.
