Jeff Bridges was positively awesome; the little girl was okay; Matt Damon (was it really him?) was surprisingly weak; and the ending was flat-out weird.
Overall I'd have to say in this sucky-movie age....True Grit is slightly worth watching.
I watched it about three nights ago and I agree with your assessment. Was that REALLY Matt Damon? I had to stick around for the credits, but I think that they are lying.
