What's truly amazing is how many people got the allusion of going back to work after quitting. It speaks to the cultural reach of that show.
True. I watch Seinfeld reruns late at night with my two older sons so I sent the link to them and yes, they got it too! And it cracked them up. Also, it was interesting to learn that there is a "real" Kramer. Funny, but maybe kind of scary too? :)
There might have been a real *Mrs. Costanza* too.Later in the show Larry described his own mother and she sounded like the inspiration.Apparently even after the 5th season of producing Seinfeld - the top show in America - Larry's mother didn't think he was all that successful.
