Sit Straight, Talk Crooked

You know, when kids sit down with their legs crossed, it is no longer referred to as sitting *indian style*....NOT EVEN for those pictured above!

They say, "sit crisscross applesauce" or some other inanity.

It's just yet another example of political correctness run amok.

I suggest y'all adopt the tack of my clever backlash. From now on I am going say to my kids,

Sit like a drunken gift-reclaimer !!!

In the 35 year span of my life, I've only met one red-faced scalper. Mr. Brown was my elementary school gym teacher.

So as far as I can tell, *native Americans* are just about extinct. Why then must we be so hypersensitive toward them?

Next they'll be saying we can't make references to lepers and passenger pigeons.

Depends on where you're at. On the east coast, they've almost been eradicated. In the Midwest and West, there are still plenty around. Unfortunately, the Natives who are hypersensitized are also the most bigoted towards whitey.
