While he can do 7th grade math....that doesn't mean that he completely understands it.
So here we're in a constant state of drills and review.
While my son is still using some math texts (Life of Fred
and Singapore Math
), with my daughter I've decided to step aside from the workbooks completely. Here's the assignment I gave the 4.42 year old Princess yesterday:
Recently I started saving and scanning these worksheets. We'll see if they amount to anything substantial over time.
After all, that's how the Kumon
guy got started - from making homemade worksheets for his kids.
