As y'all know, I pepper my posts with pictures mined off the web.
I'll tell you what, flickr the photo sharing site, is a cornucopia of great photos. I am trying to use it more these days instead of Google Image Search - which admittedly is still much better for finding the *sophomoric*.
These flickr contributors are often professionals; they are artists. Today, an above average photo on flickr might very have won a Pulitzer Prize 30 or 40 years ago.
But what else would you expect when the tools for photography suddenly became affordable to billions of people all over the world?
